MC Loves acclaimed country singer Rebecca Owen! Rebecca rocked 3 different Modern Cowgirl tee’s at her most recent venue in NM. When asked about the tee’s, she said: “I love all my great shirts for the spring! You ROCK!”

What is a gift? Can we really impact the lives of others? What is it about helping others, that feeds our souls?
MC (Modern Cowgirl) was fortunate enough to donate a Biwa Pearl and Turquoise Cross Necklace to the Rape Crisis Center of Santa Fe’s annual fundraiser. A small gesture that we were thrilled to do, but it made me think….what is in a gift?
When we have the opportunity to give to others, its usually not about the gift. Its about the thought behind the gift. The notion that you are taking the time to recognize the needs of others and are willing to lend them a helping hand.
So how do we inspire this in others? I think it’s by example. When we see others around us taking time out of their busy schedules to help those in need, it opens our eyes to the possibility of us doing the same. Our philosophy has always been that within every woman there is a cowgirl. Her “Inner Cowgirl” that gives her strength, courage, moxie, a sense of self that carries her through her day.
Sooo with that said, MC wants to start profiling strong women around the world that make a difference. They can be small gestures or grand events. Let us know what women in your life and your world inspire the best in you. The women that take the time to lend a helping hand, and how they have impacted your life.
